MicoVision signed The Shane Center in 2011 then known as Equine Assisted Therapy at Willow Farm a non-profit equine assisted therapeutic and horse riding instruction center based in Centerburg, Ohio just north of Columbus. We started by establishing a color palette unque to the center which further differentiated them from everyone else. The logo had already been designed by a designer outside of the MicoVision group. The new color scheme we helped introduce became an instant hit with the board and the fans. It also brought new life to the logo long used by the center. MicoVision then went on to create a modern and timeless brochure and coordinating business card followed by a website.
The website started with basic Joomla foundations and evolved into the MicoVision Web Development platform with an easy to use back end which allowed the Shane Center to reduce their overhead costs by maintaining the website themselves. Ocassional, MicoVision is brought in to enhance the website by adding design elements and functionality. We made the website mobile friendly one year later when MicoVision began to experiment with responsive design.
Since the website in text heavy, we created a layout which allows people to digest the information effectively and clearly through the use of iconography and images. Clients of the shane center noticed a dramatic improvement in finding information and registering for classes. Volunteers found it easy to learn the requirements and regulations.
The Shane Center wanted a brochure that they only need to print once and easily modify when it's time to grow the business. This also meant that the design had to be timless and reflected of the brand.
The business card is no exception. It had to reflect the brand and be consistent with all other marketing initiatives.
